Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4/27/2026

1. Overview

Pitchavo ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Data We Collect

We collect: (a) account data (email, password hash) and profile information you provide; (b) content you input (job listings, job posts, profile details) to generate copy and scores; (c) usage data (e.g. feature use, errors) to run and improve the service; (d) payment data processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers). We use Supabase for auth and database storage, and Anthropic for AI-powered generation.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to provide, secure, and improve Pitchavo; to process payments; to send transactional emails (e.g. password reset); and to comply with law. We do not sell your personal data. AI processing is done in accordance with our providers' policies (e.g. Anthropic).

4. Cookies and Storage

We use cookies and similar storage for authentication (e.g. session), preferences, and essential operation of the site. You can control non-essential cookies via our cookie banner or browser settings. See our cookie notice for more detail.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run Pitchavo (e.g. Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, email delivery). We require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, or operational purposes after you delete your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data via the account settings or support.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to or restrict processing. Use account settings or contact us to exercise these rights. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption, access controls, secure providers). No system is completely secure; we will notify you of significant breaches as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the revised policy and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact us via the support or contact options in the Service. For our terms, see our Terms of Service.
